During my recent trip to Ensenada, I picked up a Baja poncho aka “Zarape” in Spanish. Zarapes go way back in time to the Aztecs in the 1500s and were strong symbols of the Mexican revolution.
If you are ever in Baja it’s a must to get a poncho, not only is this gorgeous little number hella stylish but warm too! I call it my stylish blanket 😉 They don’t get any better than this. Once again another essential piece in my wardrobe that I can own forever. I usually dress up my Baja poncho with with heels but it looks so chic with white sneakers or boots. Anywhere I travel, is essential for me to pick up traditional attire or accessories from the area and make it my own. This Baja poncho is not only a statement piece but it’s meaningful to my roots 🙂
Happy Saturday ya’ll♥

I love this monochromatic look but you can do this with any color, stick to slightly different shades of the same color.

Gotta add a hint of color! Love this red with a bit of shine for the holidays.
If you have more than 1 necklace, layer them! #evil eye always protecting me.
