The holiday season calls for chunky knit sweaters, luxe textures like velvet and a whole lot of bling! I must admit this is the only time of the year where I venture out to wearing this much sparkle. I kind of wish I could be a bit more Kardashian year round…the bling part of course! 💍 So for now I am thankful for the softest chunky knit sweater my body has ever touched, all the humble bling my wallet can afford and this beautiful holiday season that’s upon us! So what else are you thankful for this year? I love hearing stories!
As for me, I am thankful for this hell of a rollercoaster year because what didn’t kill me made me stronger. Maybe I’m being a little dramatic but my first year as an entrepreneur has been a different level of crazy for me. Exploring the unknown is always scary but exciting all at the same time. Not knowing what’s next or where I will live with this new found freedom definitely outweighs all the stress. Is it worth it? I say hell-to-the-yes! Are you willing to give up some things like health insurance, a steady salary and predictable daily routine to become your own boss? In return of freedom, working for your own goals and dreams (not someone else’s), no steady salary (and highly likely a cut on your salary), and a whole lot of trial and error. Yes, I would do it all over again.
I’m not sure if this happens to you but I tend to take some things for granted. Things that I used to curse like hell before, I now forget don’t have to deal with anymore. Like a few hours of daily commute, missing every major holiday with my family, and the freedom to dictate my own future. Remember to always be thankful for the moment regardless of where you stand and keep working on the dream, it’s never too late.
As the wise C.S. Lewis said, “You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream.”

I’m super picky when it comes to chunky knit sweaters. They can make me look frumpy but this Madewell sweater has the right cut and thickness. Did I mention how freaking soft it is!? ☁️
