Ensenada Baja 1000

I live for adventure and experiencing the unknown so going to this race was one experience for the books!  For those that are not familiar with this grand event, The Ensenada Baja 1000 is part of the SCORE Championship Desert Racing Series that include the Baja 500, 250 and the new San Felipe Challenge of Champions in place of the Primm 300 which had been the only SCORE race in the United States.

So besides watching this adrenaline filled race there’s so much more fun to experience in this town. One place not to be missed while here is La Bufadora, which is one of the largest blowholes in North America, often shooting upwards more than 100 ft. above sea level.  Food, drinks and curious line up the way to the blowhole.  Perfect opportunity to grab a few unique pieces.

I also got to taste some delicious wine and food at the Guadalupe Valley.  This wine country has been booming in the past few years with around 50 wineries, art boutiques, and prize winning restaurants & hotels.

On to the next adventure 🙂

Dalí
