Cool Whites & Neutrals in Old Town San Diego
San Diego has to be one of my favorite cities in the world for its diversity of neighborhoods. One specific neighborhood holds a special place in my heart and that is Old Town San Diego. I have to admit that my top thing to do is here the Whaley house AKA one of the most haunted houses in America. I’ve had an obsession with the inexplicable since I was a little nugget because of the mystery and excitement it brings me. Old town has a lot of history and the colorful neighborhood always makes me feel like I am on a Mexican getaway. San Diego was born here from a Mexican “pueblo” and its considered to be the birthplace of California. Mexican influences are strong here so no wonder it feels just right 😉 The sounds of Mariachi, fresh made tortillas, and the colorful streets makes me never want to leave. Oh don’t forget to try the yumminess at Cafe Coyote & Cantina! Homemade flour tortillas…enough said.
Even Old Town San Diego is cooling down! Yey sweater weather! Laid back is the name of the game in SD so these Topshop flares, a boyfriend fit sweater and some comfy Vince Camuto platforms are perfect to explore the Town and grab a margarita or 2 on the way 😉
Salud to the weekend!!!
I felt strong energy as I was going up the stairs and by the first bedroom on the left, no joke. When I returned, I asked who the bedroom in the far left corner belonged to and she said to Violet Whaley the story surprised me! Here’s why…click at your own risk!
